Fall Arm Awnings:
Fall Arm Awnings –
How long does an awning last?
Generally, they will last from 5 to 15 years.
With proper cleaning and maintenance, your shade feature should last for an extremely long time.
How do I keep my awning clean?
You should follow our awning cleaning guidelines to know when you need to have a professional come out to perform maintenance work.
We recommend that you hose off your awning or canopy at least once a month to rid it of dirt and dust.
It’s extremely important that you do NOT have your fabric dry cleaned or placed in a dryer.
Does the fabric color I choose affect how hot it is under my awning?
As indicated by scientific studies, the darker a color is, the warmer it will be underneath.
However, some of our fabrics have a dark color on the outside, but their color underneath may be light.
Overall, the fabric you choose will play the biggest part in determining how hot or cool it will be underneath the shade feature.
Are awnings waterproof? Can I stay out under it during inclement weather?
Our fabrics are not waterproof, but they are water-repellent.
This means that you could sit underneath the overhang in a rainstorm and be dry.
Water will be whisked away from the surface.
What are the support frames made from? How durable are they?
Metal support frames we offer are constructed from either galvanized steel or aluminium materials.
They are durable and we recommend that you routinely maintain them so they stay looking beautiful for years to come.
How long does it take to build once I place an order?

For some canvas or fabric varieties, you may receive your order in only three weeks. If you have queries about your custom awning order, please call us.
